Today is a special day.  It’s my birthday and it’s also Elvis Presley’s birthday.
Uh, Thank you. Uh, Thank you very much!
I’m not wearing a tight white jumpsuit today or gold wired sunglasses and I’m not wearing my hair slicked back.  And I’m not suggesting that I can sing or act but I do find it  a lot of fun that Elvis and I share a birthday because as I was growing up it would always be in the news that Elvis was having a birthday on my birthday and of course his was always a bigger celebration!

A Positive Attitude In Cancerland

I don’t always feel positive about all of the situations that life throws my way but I do feel very positive about life. Would I continue to feel positive if I were diagnosed with cancer? I would hope so!  I would hope that my love of living, my love for my family and friends and my love of life in general would kick my fighting spirit into high gear and that I would become determined not to let cancer win. What can I say except that I am oh so very glad that today is Friday!! It’s the end of a work week that has no word to describe it.
