I have previously written about people I know who are fighting the good fight against cancer.  Three of them at this point are in good health while one is gearing up for the fight of his life.
He is getting ready for surgery next week and after that he enters an intense, aggressive program aimed at totally killing this sucker in its tracks.  He has an amazing attitude towards this scary situation and I admire his calm and even demeanor.

Being Proactive Can Strengthen Your Resilience The subject of resilience totally fascinates me. I didn’t always understand the impact of the products Steve Jobs enthusiastically developed for his cutting edge company, Apple, but what I admired about Steve Jobs was his tenacity. He just never quit. He never quit battling cancer and he never quit inventing new tecky products that we didn’t realized we needed until we got his incredible Apple products in our hands.  Take an Apple iPod.  I can’t run or sit on my stationary bicycle without my iPod and I know lots of people who can’t live without their Macs!
