I confess that I am one of those people who will walk into a store and use it to help me decompress from a stressful situation.

I don’t always buy something to make me feel better but I will enter a store and browse around for a good twenty minutes with the intention of being distracted, so that I can forget, at least for a short period of time, about what I am trying to handle.

I’m blowing my nose and coughing while waiting for the Airborne to dissolve in a glass of water. Ugh! I have a cold. But I’m going to carry on and I’m so thankful that it’s Friday. Preventing Burnout

Holidays are the best!  They always seem to arrive at the right time, just when we need a break from our daily routines.  Just when we need time out to relax and recharge. Holidays help us take a break, both mentally and physically, from the responsibilities we carry out every day. I intend to sleep in, exercise more, hang out with friends, and read.  I do all of these things on a regular basis but holidays allow me to do them for longer, uninterrupted periods of time.  And I can do them spontaneously which adds to the fun.
