Oh My Goodness!  Have I missed you guys or what?

I am so happy to be back and writing my heart out for Cry Laugh Heal.  I have to give a huge shout out to two fantastic, truly helpful guys: Chris Yoko of Yoko Co. in Fairfax, Virginia and Nico Dodd of Washington, DC!!!! Freezing Friday

Wow!! What a week! Between the snow, the ice and the polar vortex of winds hitting the Washington, DC area, it’s seems as though it’s been a battle of the elements every day.  Fashion has definitely gone by the wayside and staying warm is the priority.  Sometimes the sun is out but I’m not feeling too much difference in the temperature. Do You Dare?

This past weekend I was determined to slow down and take myself out of being in a state of constant hurry. There is a time when quiet is needed. A time to dare to dream.  A time to dare to just veg out. Looking For Serenity

Resilience is having the ability to bend with change and when I am working on building emotional resilience within myself, I am reminded of Reinhold Niebuhr’s famous serenity prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
