The music that some bands create can be so distinctive that you know their songs right away.  Almost instantly.  As in when you hear the first few bars of a song, you know it’s theirs and theirs alone.

Falling into this unique category would be the fabulous and funky music created by the hit making machine called Earth, Wind & Fire.

Moving & Grooving

This past weekend I spent a lot of time in the car driving to visit my brothers and my parents on the Eastern Shore.  The weather vacillated between pouring rain, strong wind gusts and then short periods of sunshine which were beautiful but not warm.  The beautiful and sometimes scary Bay Bridge, which crosses over the Chesapeake Bay, even had a wind advisory! Oh My Goodness!  Have I missed you guys or what? I don’t know about you, but now that the weather is getting a little warmer and I’m shedding my layers of winter, I’m feeling way out of shape. Too much time spent sitting in front of the computer.  Too many afternoons noshing on comfort food.
