Serenity – Fresh & Green

I’m thinking this morning about quiet on this new Monday morning.

Quiet while I gather my thoughts and remember my goals.

Quiet while I center myself, hoping that my soul finds harmony.

Quiet while I breath deeply and calm my thoughts.

For today is a new day and I can choose to release within myself the power to become healthier; mentally and physically..

Breathing, centering, finding my inner peace.  That is what today is about. Thich Nhat Hanh is a Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk, author, poet and peace activist. Just typing the combination of those words makes me feel calmer. I know that somewhere, under all the rushing and running around and multi-tasking is a peaceful inner core, and my aim is to find it. It’s All In Your Attitude

Hi Dear Friends! Yesterday I went for my annual eye exam and of course the doctor dilated my eyes.  I now have to use eye drops three to four times a day.  One is a prescription drop and the other is an over-the-counter brand.  I am just getting used to this new routine and I am finding that it’s a lot of drops to have rolling down my face.  Better get some water-proof mascara right? I am a January Baby and yesterday was my birthday. I am happy to have a birthday (Elvis and I were born on the same day!) but I wish I had been born at a different time of the year.
