I am happier when I have an idea of what my day is going to bring, but most of the time I really have no idea what the next 24 hours is going to be like.
I know the time of appointments, deadlines, and fun stuff, such as having lunch or dinner with friends or family, but otherwise my time is pretty much open for anything. Excuse my French, but shit happens, as they say, and life can throw me and you a surprise curve ball without a heads up that it’s coming our way. I don’t know why it seems to happen this way but it does.
If it’s a good surprise then it’s much easier to roll with it right? But those bad tension-inducing surprises are the ones that give you heartburn. Or a stress headache. Or they can send you to the refrigerator chanting, “I don’t want it to change. I don’t want it to change!”
Change can be scary or it can be something that I learn to accept for what it is. (I’m reading that sentence again just to make sure I have it stored in my brain!)
I do know this for sure: some kind of change is gonna come because life is always changing whether I like it or not. I saw this helpful quote over the weekend and I thought I would share it with you. I’m going to print it out and tape it to my refrigerator door for inspiration!
Hope you like it too!!
