There is nothing like a farmer’s market.  I am totally into them.

You can ask anyone who knows me about how much I love to either walk to a farmer’s market or pull the car over to the side of the road to check one out.

Some of my favorites include the farmer’s market in Bethany Beach, Delaware and the farmer’s market located in one of New York City’s great public space, Union Square.

Shhhh….something tells me it’s Monday. I’m feeling mellow this morning and perhaps this has something to do with turning the clocks forward this past weekend and losing an hour as we spring forward in to daylight savings time.  I totally love the longer day, full of more daylight and opportunities to socialize outdoors, but I have to admit that it is a bit of an adjustment for the body, especially in the beginning.     This past weekend the winter weather window opened up for a well-timed warming trend and for a few hours our buddy The Sun popped through the cold and the clouds and energized everything in its path. My 88-year-old Dad misplaced his checkbook last week and over the weekend a full-on, pull-out-all-the-plugs search effort was executed by our mom, me, my five siblings and even a few grandchildren.
