Hey there Resilient Readers:

This morning I am very excited to share news with you about a project which started last year and is now completed!!

It’s a new ebook about grief and I am included (Cry Laugh Heal is Chapter 21; don’t worry the chapters are short!) along with other bloggers and writers whose work I consider to be truly fantastic!  I am beyond flattered to be included in this wonderful project that we hope will help others in their grief.

The book is titled “From Grief To Greatness” and it was written and organized by a great guy named Tom Sweetman.  This book project has literally been a work of love for him since he started it following the death of his beloved Mum in 2012 due to cancer.

Sweetman

I think it is fair to say that none of us are prepared for the array of emotions that accompany the death of a loved one and Tom Sweetman’s intention in writing this book was to extend a helping hand to others who find themselves struggling to find comfort in their bereavement.  The book “offers a chance to turn pain into potential for those who know they have more to give the world,” Sweetman said.

This book is different because it is written by ordinary people changed by grief.  It is not cold and clinical or about the theory of grief.  We write honestly of our personal experiences with loss and how each of us came to finding resilience in our own way.  There is no single, right way to grieve or heal from a loss, and among the many stories told in “From Grief To Greatness” there may be one that you find inspirational, particularly as we move into the holiday season which can be an emotional minefield for people missing a deceased loved one.

If you are interested,  you can buy it on Amazon right now.  It’s not expensive which I think helps make it accessible to more people. Here’s the link if you would like to order a copy or maybe even a number of copies:  http://amzn.to/1scsstb

Thank you so much for your support and I’d love to hear your thoughts about the book!!
