Something as simple as the day of the week can make me happy.
I didn’t even work five days this week because Washington, DC got so much snow on Monday that the federal government shut down, the buses weren’t running and just like that, I had the day off.
Still, today is Friday and that feels soooooo great!  The grind of this week is almost over and the weekend is within sight.

What a whirl of a week this had been.  Deadlines. Pressure.  Meltdowns.  Not me.  Others. I know the Grammys were Sunday night but the music is still rockin’ and rollin’ for me. I’m Up All Night To Get Lucky. . . Beautiful Deserted Rehoboth Beach Hey everyone!  Hope your weekend was full of unlimited amounts good times or at least full of what one of my guy friends calls antics! Mine certainly was!! Lorde’s smash hit, “Royals,” is a mesmerizing song with an almost hypnotic beat.  I can’t understand all the words to the song but I still like it and it continues to grow on me.
